FRANKLIN – Soccer fans will have the opportunity to experience the FIFA World Cup in a festival atmosphere this week at Franklin’s official Fan Zone.
The MetroWest Regional Fan Zone takes place June 24th and 25th on the Franklin Town Common and will feature live broadcasts of four World Cup matches on a giant jumbotron. In addition to the games, organizers have planned food trucks, a community beer garden, arts and crafts vendors, family activities, and live entertainment.
Activities will run from 3 PM to 9 PM each day. Admission is free, but advance registration is required so organizers can properly plan for attendance. Registration information is available through the Town of Franklin website.
