HOPKINTON – Hopkinton’s Memorial Day observances will begin Monday morning at 9:45 AM at Evergreen Cemetery on Wood Street. The ceremony will continue with stops at the Mayhew Street cemeteries for wreath-laying ceremonies and remarks honoring veterans.
The procession will then move to the Town Common at 11:15 AM, where the public ceremony will include music, speakers, a reading of the Gettysburg Address, a Flag Dip, and the National Anthem at noon. Organizers say food will be served afterward at St. John’s Parish Hall.
