MEDWAY – Medway residents will gather tonight at Medway High School for both a Special Town Meeting at 7 p.m. and the Annual Town Meeting at 7:30 p.m. One of the key items on the warrant is a proposal for the town to purchase and preserve 88 acres of open space on Winthrop Street for $5.6 million using Community Preservation Act funds.
Another major article involves a proposed PILOT tax agreement with Hecate Energy Medway Energy Center tied to plans for a 300-megawatt battery energy storage system along 15 West Street.
