MILFORD – Milford’s police chief is again urging parents to talk with children about bike safety following another close call. Chief Robert Tusino shared video showing a child riding erratically between the sidewalk and roadway before entering a busy intersection at East Main and Hayward without stopping or looking.
The child was struck by a vehicle but not seriously injured, prompting renewed concern. Tusino warned that ignoring basic bike safety practices could lead to a tragedy.
