Northbridge’s girls lacrosse team stayed unbeaten yesterday afternoon with another impressive win, defeating Tantasqua 8-3 and improving to 5-0 on the season. The Rams have been humming all year, and this one was another example of how balanced and efficient they have been on both ends of the field.

Brooklyn Thibeault led the way with a hat trick, giving Northbridge a reliable scorer who helped set the tone early. Elly Schofer and Grace Haden each added two goals, which kept the offense spread out and difficult to defend. Lily Proto also contributed a goal and an assist, while Skyler Boucher made nine saves in the net to help keep the Warriors from ever gaining momentum.

Northbridge has now averaged 12.8 goals per game while allowing just 5.8 through its first five contests, a sign that the Rams are doing a little bit of everything well. The defense has been steady, the offense has been productive, and the team has consistently found ways to control games.

The Rams now face AMSA this upcoming Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. AMSA owns a 3-3-1 record and is coming off a 14-12 win over Notre Dame, so the matchup should still challenge Northbridge. The Rams will look to keep Thibeault, Schofer, and the rest of the attack rolling as they try to stay perfect.
