GRAFTON – Grafton officials are preparing to ask voters to approve a five-year, $5 million tax override to support both town services and the school system. The Select Board has approved placing the proposal before residents at Town Meeting and in a town-wide vote.
The Community Advocate reports that school officials warn that without the override, the district could face cuts of more than 11 full-time positions and several programs, including some sports. The measure will be a key topic in upcoming discussions.
