Milford Police Issue Dozens More Citations in School Zone Crackdown

MILFORD – Milford Police continued their push to improve safety around schools with another round of enforcement under “Operation Safe School Zone.” During arrival and dismissal times on Tuesday, officers observed 65 traffic violations, resulting in 38 citations and one criminal application.

Chief Robert Tusino noted that the effort also included three e-bike citations issued to kids, highlighting growing concerns around bike safety. He emphasized the goal is not to burden drivers with fines, but to educate and improve safety throughout the community.
