BOSTON – Great news for nonprofits across Massachusetts as the Boston Athletic Association continues to give back in a big way.
Through its spring B.A.A. Gives Back Grant Program, a total of $125,000 has been awarded to 15 organizations working to promote healthy lifestyles and strengthen communities through sports and physical activity.
Since launching in 2023, the program has now distributed nearly $900,000 to 64 organizations across the Commonwealth, supporting initiatives that encourage wellness, inclusion, and active living.
This year’s recipients include groups like Girls on the Run Greater Boston, The Hoyt Foundation, and Rise Above Foundation—each using the funding to expand access to fitness, mental health resources, and youth programming.
Organizers say the program continues to grow each year, helping more organizations make a meaningful impact in their communities.
The next round of grant applications is expected to open in September 2026.
