HOPKINTON – A Mendon driver has been cited following a dramatic crash Tuesday morning that left an SUV overturned on West Main Street. Police say the incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. when the driver nearly rear-ended a stopped vehicle and swerved at the last second.
The SUV struck an underpass and flipped, landing partly on top of another car. Fortunately, neither driver suffered serious injuries, and the Mendon driver was cited for unsafe operation and a marked lanes violation.
