HOPKINTON – With drought conditions continuing and outdoor watering restrictions still in place, Hopkinton is introducing a Residential Water Conservation Program to help residents reduce usage. Officials say even small changes at home can make a significant impact on preserving the water supply.
The Water Department will be sharing tips and resources in the coming months, including practical suggestions like upgrading appliances. For example, new front-loading washing machines can save “over 40% in water consumption”, offering a simple way for households to conserve.
