SOUTHBOROUGH – The town of Southborough is moving forward with upgrades to improve pedestrian safety at several busy crossings.

Crews are installing Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons, which are activated by pedestrians and use bright flashing lights to alert drivers to yield.

Work is taking place at several locations, including Main Street near Mauros Café and Fay School, Cordaville Road near Woodward School, and Richards Road at Killam Farm Road.
