The Uxbridge Spartans winter cheer program closed out a season to remember with a string of high finishes that underscored the squad’s steady progress and depth. The Spartans captured first place at the D3 Central Massachusetts Championship earlier in the month, a result that reflected crisp synchronization across routines and consistent execution on roundoffs and flips. That momentum carried into the Central Regional D3 Championship, where Uxbridge again finished first and validated expectations heading into states.
At the D3 state championships, the Spartans continued to perform at a high level, finishing sixth overall in a large and competitive field. That placement was earned against a deep slate of teams and demonstrated how much the program has developed in the offseason and through the regular season. Uxbridge also celebrated individual recognition when two athletes were named CMAC All-Stars. Samantha Huth and Madison LaBonte were both honored for their contributions and leadership throughout the year.
Beyond hardware and honors, the Spartans leave the season with a clear blueprint for growth. The coaching staff and returning athletes can build on synchronized technique, tumbling depth and competition experience as they target an even higher state finish next season.
