HOPKINTON — A community quilting effort is underway as part of the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
The Marathon Quilters Guild and the Hopkinton Public Library are partnering to participate in the National Quilt Project, which aims to create a quilt reflecting the “rich mosaic” of America.
According to the Hopkinton Independent, residents are invited to submit quilting squares. The Library and Quilters Guild will collect the squares and submit them as part of the national initiative.
