WESTBOROUGH – You can make your mark on Westborough through a new public art project led by a local artist focused on creativity and connection.

Lián Amaris, who opened Craftlab Westboro last summer, is launching her first community-wide initiative called “One Thousand Values.” The project is designed to reflect what residents hope for, value, or want to see grow within the Westborough community.

Amaris told The Community Advocate that the project will offer 1,000 free canvases along with materials for painting, writing, and sewing. The materials will be available to adults ages 18 and older, giving participants a chance to express themselves through art in whatever way feels most meaningful to them.

Craftlab Westboro was created as a space where people can use creativity to process emotions, and Amaris says this project builds on that mission by bringing individual voices together into one shared community expression.
