MASSACHUSETTS – Closures and delays are continuing today as plow crews across the area work to dig out from the latest winter storm. Snow totals vary widely, ranging from more than 13 inches in Milford, to over 17 inches in Wrentham, and more than 22 inches in southwest Hopkinton.
Most town-wide parking bans remain in effect, and officials are reminding residents not to assume a ban has been lifted just because a road appears clear. Police departments will announce officially when parking restrictions are lifted, and vehicles parked too early may still be ticketed or towed.
While sunshine is expected, cold temperatures will slow recovery efforts. Highs in the 20s and overnight lows in the single digits mean ice will linger on roads and sidewalks for several days.
