HOPKINTON – A Hopkinton woman is facing federal charges for an alleged scheme to defraud multiple banks. The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Rosemary Parks has been indicted on three counts of bank fraud and three counts of aggravated identity theft for allegedly impersonating at least eight bank customers between 2022 and 2025.
Prosecutors allege Parks withdrew more than $536,000 from the victims’ bank accounts during the scheme. Federal officials say if she is convicted, each bank fraud charge carries a potential sentence of up to 30 years in prison.
