HOPKINTON – With Hopkinton’s town budget process moving quickly, Town Manager Elaine Lazarus is reminding residents that they have opportunities to be involved and make their voices heard.
She says Select Board meetings throughout February and early March will include presentations from town departments outlining their budget requests for the coming year. At a meeting scheduled for March 10, the Select Board is expected to formally adopt a proposed budget and send it to the Appropriation Committee for further review.
All of these meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and participate. Final adoption of the town budget is set to take place at Hopkinton’s Annual Town Meeting on May 2.
