The Northbridge girls’ program endured a rough stretch before answering with a strong rebound. The Rams dropped a tight contest at Sutton, their third straight loss after a 3-2 start, but then responded with a big second-half performance in a win over Uxbridge.

At Sutton, Northbridge trailed 26-17 heading into the second half and fought to reduce the margin, outscoring the Suzies 21-19 after intermission. Ellory Manning and Chloe Barnatt each scored eight in a game low on offensive production, but the Rams could not overcome Sutton’s early advantage.

Northbridge rebounded with a solid road victory last night, turning a halftime tie into a decisive second-half performance. Audrey Siemaszko led the way with 13 points, Chloe Barnatt added 11, and Emily Flaunto poured in 12 as the Rams outscored Uxbridge 28-10 after the break to claim the win. That victory provided a much-needed lift heading into Wednesday night’s home test against Worcester South at 6:30 p.m.

The recent skid and immediate bounce-back underscore Northbridge’s resilience. Coaches will emphasize building consistency on offense so the Rams can string multiple wins together as the schedule ramps up.
