BELLINGHAM – The Town of Bellingham is looking to hire poll workers to assist with elections this year. Poll workers are hired by local election officials to help check in voters, distribute ballots, tally votes, and assist voters inside the polling place.

In most cases, poll workers must be registered voters, although up to two workers per precinct may be 16 or 17 years old. There are three scheduled elections in 2026, and all poll workers will be required to attend mandatory training sessions in April and May. More information and the application are available on the Bellingham town website.
