FRANKLIN – Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School has received a Skills Capital Grant from the state to strengthen its Automotive Technology and Medical Careers programs.

According to the Franklin Observer, the Automotive Technology program used the funding to purchase electric vehicle simulators and a hybrid vehicle for hands-on training. Meanwhile, the Medical Careers program added an Anatomage Table, a state-of-the-art digital anatomy lab that allows students to study virtual human cadavers.

School officials say the upgrades will give students real-world, relevant experience and help prepare them for future careers in high-demand industries.
