BLACKSTONE – The Blackstone Special Town Meeting will be held Saturday, November 8 at 10 a.m. at Blackstone-Millville Regional High School.
Officials say the first and most significant of the 14 warrant articles will ask residents whether to spend $1.5 million for a water meter replacement program. The proposal includes the cost of new software, installation labor, and related expenses.
The measure requires a two-thirds majority to pass. The same article was previously considered but not approved at the Annual Town Meeting in May.
