FRANKLIN – A two-alarm fire that broke out Saturday evening on Maple Street in Franklin is under investigation.
Fire Chief Charles Allen said firefighters arrived to find flames spreading on both floors of the home. Crews from Milford, Bellingham, Medway, Foxboro, Norfolk, Wrentham, and Plainville assisted Franklin firefighters in bringing the blaze under control.
Everyone inside the home was able to escape safely, and no injuries were reported.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting Franklin Fire and Police in determining the cause of the fire.
