MILFORD – The Central Street Bridge in Milford is once again open to vehicles after being closed for several months for a major reconstruction project.
The Milford Highway Department reopened the bridge to traffic Wednesday afternoon after completing most of the rebuilding work that began over the summer.
The bridge remains closed to pedestrians while crews finish sidewalk construction. Officials say additional work will continue over the next few weeks, and drivers may experience minor daytime traffic delays.
The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of November.
