HOPKINTON – Town officials are planning a possible groundbreaking ceremony on November 4 for the new Charleswood School.
According to the Hopkinton Independent, members of the Elementary School Building Committee said this week they are preparing for an afternoon event near the gate by the Marathon School. The location was chosen to allow guests to attend without getting too close to the active construction site.
The superintendent said they hope to display renderings of the new school on easels to help visitors visualize the project. Officials also plan to feature speakers from the Massachusetts School Building Authority during the ceremony.
