Nipmuc’s defense was tested repeatedly, and the visitors could not convert a handful of early chances that might have changed the complexion of the contest. Despite the disappointing result, the Warriors sit near the top of the CMAC B division and remain capable of responding. Their next match is a home meeting with the BVT Beavers this afternoon at 3:30 p.m., a team that has had trouble with consistency this year. BVT entered the day at 3-4-4 after a recent win over Hopedale, so Nipmuc should expect a scrappy opponent.
