HOPKINTON – The Hopkinton Area Land Trust is inviting residents to take part in a Mushroom Walk this weekend.
Renowned mushroom expert Jonathan Kranz will lead the guided event, teaching participants how to identify which mushrooms are safe to eat, as well as how to find, collect, and prepare them. The walk will also explore the fascinating ways mushrooms live and their vital roles in local ecosystems.
The Mushroom Walk takes place Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Fruit Street Athletic Fields. Space is limited, and registration is available at https://hopkintonlandtrust.org.
