HOPKINTON – The Hopkinton Public Library has officially opened its new CreatorSpace, a hands-on area designed for arts, crafts, and technology exploration.

A grand opening was held Sunday to celebrate the new room, which is open to adults and kids ages 10 and up. The CreatorSpace is located on the lower level of the library, in the former classroom area.

Registration is required to receive a free CreatorSpace Membership Card, and participants ages 10 through 17 will need a parent’s or guardian’s signature to sign up.

The project was funded by the Hopkinton Public Library Foundation through a $10,000 grant that covered the cost of furniture and equipment.
