HOPKINTON – The Hopkinton Area Land Trust is marking its 30th anniversary this month with a guided trail walk at Wiley Woods.
The event will take place on Sunday, October 12, beginning at 2 p.m. Participants are asked to meet at the back of the parking lot of TJ’s Food & Spirits in Ashland.
According to the Hopkinton Independent, HALT acquired Wiley Woods in 1997 when a developer donated more than 15 acres of open space. The property was named in honor of Judith Wiley, a longtime Planning Board member who was a strong supporter of the Land Trust.
