HOPKINTON – Charges may be filed against a driver who crashed into a telephone pole late Sunday night.
Police and firefighters responded to Hayden Rowe Street at Chestnut Street just after 11:40 p.m. A police department spokesman told the Hopkinton Independent that the impact brought down the pole and some wires, and the car caught fire.
The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Officials say they are still investigating the crash and have not yet determined whether charges will be filed.
