The Westborough Select Board has voted to approve an official code of conduct for itself. At their meeting earlier this month the Select Board set a list of the expectations for members when they conduct business on behalf of the town such as with town workers, residents, and one another. The Community Advocate reports the official code has several sections covering how the Select Board members should behave publicly and how they communicate with town officials, as well as how they would recuse themselves from town issues which may have a personal conflict.
