A Hopkinton teen who has been in a medically induced coma since being hit by a car on July 4 is reportedly showing some signs of improvement. 16-year-old Raphaela Cristeli was hit while walking with friends across the New Bedford-Fairhaven Bridge. The Hopkinton Independent spoke to a friend of hers who says Cristelli, who is at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, has been taken off the medicine that was keeping her in the coma and has been reacting to the presence of her friends and family.
