The Hopedale Police Department will be getting a comfort dog later this summer. The Department says they are partnering with New England Labradoodles in Mendon to bring a doodle named Dunkin to Hopedale in August. Dunkin will be doing his comfort dog training with Jenn at Stonewall Canine in Bellingham. Once in Hopedale he will work alongside Sgt. Mahan to support students in Hopedale schools, visit with residents, and respond to mental health-related calls to help bring calm and comfort when it’s needed most. And yes, he will have an Instagram you can follow.
