A reminder for folks in Uxbridge and Northbridge that the Mendon Road Bridge is expected to be closed on July 25 with no indication of how long it will be closed. Mass DOT says a recent bridge inspection noted some significant problems that require it to be closed for what they say is the “long-term”. For now, the primary detour route will use Providence Road, Hartford Avenue, and Uxbridge Road and Hastings Street.
