Two Arrested After Fleeing from Milford Police Following Dangerous Moped Incident on Whitney Street

Two people are facing charges related to where and how they were riding a moped.  Milford Police say Tuesday afternoon they got a call about someone riding a moped erratically on Whitney Street and almost hitting a car. Police allege that when they spotted the moped the two guys on it ditched it and ran but were caught about 20 minutes later. 19-year-old Pedro Da Silva is charged with trespassing, operating with a suspended license and having an uninsured vehicle. A juvenile was also arrested.
