Hopkinton residents can come to a meeting today to hear about the town’s new group electricity buying program called Hopkinton Power Choice which begins in September. The Town has signed a contract with Direct Energy to provide 24 months of stable electricity prices as well as what they call cleaner electricity for residents and businesses. The Town is holding two meetings to explain it all. There is one at 2:30pm today at the Hopkinton Senior Center and another at 6pm at the Public Library.
