The Franklin Historical Museum’s Bridal Gown Exhibit is back. You can see a stunning collection of gowns worn by Franklin brides and their family members starting in the late 1800s and going up until recently. The Franklin Observer reports the exhibit is curated by Historic Commission Member Jan Prentice and a group of volunteers. It is open through Sunday, August 10 during regular museum hours and admission is free. On Sunday July 13 speaker Lisa Michels will deliver a talk and slide show about iconic historic wedding gowns over the decades.
