Our Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect until 8pm Tuesday. The National Weather Service says we can expect dangerously hot conditions with the high temperature today near 95 and tomorrow closer to 100, but the heat index values making it feel like109. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. If you need a cool place to go during the day, Milford Police invite you to use their lobby and they say Chris’ Corner, the Milford Senior Center and Milford Town Library are available for shelter during normal business hours.
