Milford Police are thanking residents for your efforts to drive with patience and safety with the Central Street Bridge reconstruction underway. The rebuild will have Central closed between Beach and Depot until possible October which as expected had initially put a lot more cars onto Main and East Main. But Police say they have already noticed an improvement in the detour traffic with people adjusting since the project began. They say the heaviest traffic times appear to be from 7am-9am and 2pm-6pm. They ask everyone to continue to seek alternate routes to alleviate congestion.
