The Westborough Women’s Club has awarded $24,000 to a group of high school seniors to put towards their college education. WWC says they gave $3,000 each to the eight seniors, thanks to money raised through their annual holiday house tour, bake sales at town meetings, BINGO night, and donations from members. The Community Advocate reports the WWC has awarded scholarships to Westborough seniors since 1926.
