With Franklin voters saying “no” to a $3.6 million tax override in a Special Town Election, Town and School District officials have begun discussing cuts to jobs and services. It was fairly close with a difference of 185 votes. On Wednesday the Professional Firefighters of Franklin put out a statement saying there will likely be what they call “unavoidable cuts” to staffing levels, including the deactivation of their third ambulance.
