E-Bike safety is on the minds of Medway Police. They have posted on social media a traffic camera video from an intersection showing an e-bike rider zooming through a red light and just missing getting hit by a car. They remind you that e-bikes, mopeds, and bicycles must follow the same traffic laws as motor vehicles including traffic signals and stop signs, yielding to pedestrians and no riding on sidewalks. And they have free bike helmets for kids in need – they say just stop by the station—no questions asked.
