Hopedale’s girls’ lacrosse team closed out their season on a high note with a commanding 14–7 win over Notre Dame Academy on Friday. The Blue Raiders showcased their full potential, executing with speed, precision, and balance. They dominated faceoffs, transitioned effectively, and worked the ball with patience and purpose to find high-percentage shots. Their defense kept Notre Dame at bay for much of the afternoon, while their goalie came up big with timely saves to preserve the lead. Hopedale finished the season with an impressive 11–5 record, a reflection of their strong team chemistry and discipline. Unfortunately, narrow recent losses to Auburn and Worcester pushed them just outside of the playoff bubble, landing them at No. 34, two spots shy of qualification. Despite that disappointment, the Blue Raiders proved they belonged among the top teams in Division 4. Their final performance was a reminder of the talent and cohesion that made them dangerous all year. With many key players set to return, Hopedale will be one to watch next spring.
