Wrentham’s Park Street Bridge will remain closed for the foreseeable future. State Representative Marcus Vaughn says in a notice on the town website that MassDOT engineers have determined the bridge cannot safely reopen to full capacity without significant structural work, including a full replacement of the superstructure. He says MassDOT is looking into a short-term solution to partially reopen the bridge for passenger vehicles but truck traffic and other heavy vehicles would still be restricted.
