Water flow testing in Hopkinton could affect some water users today and Wednesday. The Water-Sewer department says today there will be several required hydrant flow tests in locations near main transmission lines, so your water could be discolored after the tests are done, between 9am and 11am. Tomorrow the Town will be conducting the first backwash of the PFAS filters which requires a rapid flow of water similar to a fire flow test. That’s Wednesday 9am-11am. Be sure to check your water before using it.
