Hopkinton Town Meeting will be voting on whether to approve funding for a proposed adaptive playground at Marathon School. At their meeting this week the Select Board voted to recommend the funding for the $1.2 million project and have it put to a Town Meeting vote which is set for May 5, saying there has been a public demand for it. The Hopkinton Independent reports a committee that researched about 100 locations for an adaptive playground determined that the Marathon School was the best spot.
