An early warning from Uxbridge Police about the start of Road Construction Season. They say the first big project, set to start March 17, is a stretch of South Main Street, which is Route 122, from the center of town south to Susan Pkwy, including the Quaker Highway intersection project for Big Y. They ask you to remember the delays from last year on the infrastructure project on the same stretch of road last season and plan ahead to go another way. And they say this year’s work is even more involved than last year encompassing the entire stretch while they repave the road and replace the sidewalks.
