Uxbridge Police are investigating an accident in which an 80-year-old man was hit by a car while he was crossing North Main Street. It happened Monday evening near the intersection at Harvard near the CVS Pharmacy. An Uxbridge Police spokesperson tells the Daily News the man, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital where his current condition is not known. The driver, whose name was also not released, stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. So far the driver has not been cited.
