By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton Select Board Member Mary-Jo LaFreniere has reportedly been charged with Operating Under the Influence following a crash Sunday. LaFreniere was charged after the incident in which she reportedly drove over a curb and hit a guardrail near Weston Nurseries following a wake for a family member. Her next court appearance will be in February. She told Hop News she accepts responsibility for what happened. In a statement the Town said they cannot comment. LaFreniere’s term is up in May and she was not planning to run again.
