By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – As Westborough’s Municipal Building Committee gets ready to meet tonight to decide whether to renovate or rebuild the Westborough Golf Club, the town’s Advisory Finance Committee has recommended borrowing $450,000 toward it. The Community Advocate reports the close vote of 5-4 approved the money toward design development, bid documents and hiring a food services consultant. Officials say a redo of the club would be paid with Golf Club Enterprise funds and lease payments if a restaurant goes in.
