By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The superintendent of the Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District is retiring. Michael F. Fitzpatrick, who has been with the district for 30 years, says he plans to step away at the end of the 2024-25 school year. The district says during his tenure he oversaw significant repair projects, a major expansion, and the opening of new vocational and adult programs. The school has also won numerous awards.
